While performing my periodic drive-by today, I came across this thought-provoking guest article by Scott Rodgers.

Very, very interesting question. You do not have to be a social theologian to notice the change in focus from just a generation ago. The new crop of emerging (pun intended) church leaders have made a pointed effort in bridging the gap, perceived or not, that existed between the church and mainstream... well... people.
